Ryan Brio, a poet of purpose dressed with talent!

Who the fuck is Ryan Brio?

The Man Himself

Dear Readers, would anybody know who is Ryan Brio? Well even I don't know, all I know is I've read a story a while ago showing a review about his music titled Physical Comedy, and the headline was, '' Do you ever cross someone's path and you KNOW they have somehing ?'' So of course I fell for it, I went digging in, snuffed my nose on that kid's profile. Turns out, I don't know if he's a punk, a rocker, a modern indie goof or what ever the fuck he is, but one thing is sure, he has talent, and creativity. He's played with The Stone Phones before, and seems to dabble in people project as a Hired musician and performer. Now about his music; It's a mix of modern indie, soul in a sense, public pleasing U2, Prince and brilliance. But then again, depending on which song you listen influences leech out from all what can be heard on modern streaming platforms.

Now usually, I'd corner a certain song along his most recent EP but this time no, I demand you all just go along his discography, elucidating his various moods, his love for a certain girl, world and life in general if I'm not mistaken. Last time I was on LSD, I remember feeling very relaxed, mellow and all numb and this music has this psychedelic effect on the brain. You kind of end up wondering if he's not about to get you hypnotized or something. In I Found The Love of my Life, we get a glimpse of what the Beatles could've been had they met Marc De Marco in modern age. Drums lock you in the groove, and halfway through this charming cosmic piece we have a fuzzy solo sounding a la George Harrison on Abbey Road. The tones through out his musical expressions, are just fucking right on, they fit with the drums, the smooth reverbs alleviating his singing and the whole vibe.

Overall, his music his a frankestein of genius, it has essence of plenty of bits of Rap, RnB, Pop, Rock, Indie, Ballads and Jazz. It showcases complex arrangements on songs such as Everybody's Shakin; musiciens who are the least worried of their competence on their respective instruments, they all seem to know what to play at the right moment. And the voice glides smoothly across the mixes. We have a bit of experimental bits here and there too and the juxtaposition of the effects are just marvelous.

The best part of it is, it is mostly all Ryan's doing that we hear across his multiple songs. Very few times has he had to seek out the help of external musicians, and he also mixes and masters all by himself. Ryan Brio has embrassed the modern Do It Yourself method of producing music and he does it so brilliantly, I encourage you all to go and hear his music and don't miss him when he'll be back on show which is yet to be announced. Finally, he's recently released his insides undigested, yet fully treated and bagged in two sets, one called Shoe (Pt.1) and the second that came out recently titled Shoe,Pt.2; both avaible on streaming platforms. Once again this great catalogue proves just how much diversity and influences Ryan has embraced along his walk of life.
