Mindfuzz more like Mind games

 

Mindfuzz, a project that started out from a melting pots of projects seeing the daylight around October 2022, was a band heavily influenced by the 80's and 90's heavier rock and grunge, alternative tendencies! Listening to their songs Butane, Request and Phlegm, there was a will to bring back groovy laced rock spirited music on the scene. Shows were deemed quite the action packed sets and always a thrill to be part of. While their story might have been troublesome, their music was great, their contribution to the local music scene was by no means gibberish. By the end of the group's lifespan, rumours had it tensions had infested the nest, a leader more like a knicker who'd knick all the control and other stories haunted the bands attic, things escalated quickly leading to accusations and public statements surrounding them, the police had it's nose snuffed in, and soon they were no more. The greatest bands either adapt and become mainstream, or die fast after paving their way brilliantly. Mindfuzz had not yet left an indelible trace on the local streets, and nor were they close to being a breakthrough, yet they held an idea, a will to help out ressurect this grunge, raw, rock that is now long gone since the last two decades! They'd also tried bringing life in the scene by helping out organizing events to bring people closer at jams at Mont Royal and being active in the local scene's shows. Best hopes for all members, and word has it Delrick, a young videographer for the local scene, who was part of the band and others except Mathieu will start a new band. Delrick has issued a statement concerning the affair on the bands page if ever you wish to read directly from the source. Nowadays, with social media, destroying or exposing someone's wrond doings is quite easy and news spread fast. But surely it is always best to go straight to the ones concern to settle down on ways to go and seek out help for what ever issues one faces and I hope for all that the scene will bloom and filther those who are in it for the wrong reasons in respectable and appropriate ways further on! May 25 at Barlfy, The Snatchers, Gitni and Sigil Grove

 I'd dragged my feets up to Lachine district under the red hot sun listening to high class proper muppet jazz and gizzmo sucked out of mans to be, all billed under a festival call La Dame Festive. Friends and I filled our ears and tummies along the canal with delicacies overpriced and spent the end of the afternoon playing haki-sac. By the time six o'clock came by, I was in a metro falling asleep as the lights and sounds sped around me in all directions, the destination was a show at Barfly publicized by vicious kids who've got nothing more to do than grind their feets and teeths on cheap knicks and good music. The bands featured on this bill were the Snatchers, Gitni and the one and only Sigil Grove.
